Huikka

Deleting your data

Huikka has no user accounts and no sign-in. The app gives your phone a random player id, and that id is the only way to find your data on our server.

How to ask for your data to be deleted

  1. Open Huikka and go to Settings → About → Contact. The app starts an email to contact@huikka.com with your player id already in it.
  2. Write that you want your data deleted, and send it.

If no email app opens, Huikka shows your player id in the same place. Write to contact@huikka.com then, and include the id.

We delete the data and reply within one month at the latest.

What is deleted

We delete your player id and everything tied to it from our server, and your purchase records from RevenueCat. Games are removed from the server anyway about a day after they end or are left unfinished, and error reports are removed from Sentry after 30 days.

What we keep

We keep only the device id hashes of trial records, so that the free trial of a paid game cannot be used again. The original id cannot be worked out from a hash.

The App Store and Google Play keep their own records of your purchases under their own privacy policies. So the games you bought are not lost: Settings → Purchases → Restore purchases brings them back.

If you have already deleted the app

Deleting the app deletes what it stored on your phone, except on an iPhone, where the device id stays in the phone's keychain. Without your player id we cannot find what is left on our server, as we do not know who you are.

The privacy policy explains in full how data is handled.
